Hari Raya and Nasional Day 2011 - part 2

31st Aug 2011, 2nd Raya Day and Nasional Day!
Wednesday
Merdeka! Merdeka!

Early morning, my sis knocked our door, we were still sleeping. It's already 7am, we supposed to go for Tim Sum at Ming Court Tim Sum as planned. =P

When we reached there, it was fully crowded with people, we went in and there was no place, and people was waiting at each of the table....there are about 4 or more other Tim Sum restaurants at the same street, all were full house... :(

Therefore, we went to Chang Keong Tim Sum, Jalan Raja Ekram, which is located near to Ming Court Tim Sum as well. Too bad, we did not take any photos as we were too hungry to finish all when it was served. =p.

After breakfast, photos session again, =D.
We went to temples: Lin Seng Tong, Sam Poh Tong and Nam Thean Tong.

Then we tried to look for some 'Tong Shui', too bad I did not saved the location of the recommended tong shui in the website. We could not find any tong shui... :(

We were out from Ipoh town at 10am and proceed to our next destination - Sungkai Hot Spring which is about 1 hours drive from Ipoh tol.

We reached Sungkai Hot Spring at about 11.15am and bought our tickets to enter the water park.

This is where the temperature at about 90degree to boil the eggs. It was too crowded.

My sis bought 10pcs eggs @ RM4.50 (minimum order qty ;). For those who plan to go there, please bring the eggs and 'kicap'. The 'kicap' cost rm0.50 for small package.

We boiled our eggs at another area with 60 - 70 degree.

Four of us finished 10pcs eggs and my daughter finished her nasi lemak!

Both boiling eggs and nasi lemak her favorite!!

We had our lunch at about 3.15pm when we reached Subang Jaya for Bak Kut Teh at Yu Kee Restaurant. It cost us RM51.20.

Bak Kut Teh with steam oil rice...tasty!

Dry Bak Kut Teh...Gambateh!! :)

After lunch, we went back to rest.....
and we went to another night market in Setia Alam which only available on Wednesday...
When we get down from our car, we can smell the 'smelly taufu'.... ;p

Below 2 photos were taken from my left and right when I was at the overpass, the night market is about 2.4km long.... :S

There are about 3 -4 stalls selling smelly taufu, almost every stall was long queue....
I dare not try it.. :)

my sis is one of the fans...can you see her? @.@
