Day 6 - Phnom Penh

Day 6,

26th July 2011 (Tuesday)

We had our Breakfast at Harvest Inn with Bread that we tasted in Day 1. We like it very much. Susan and I finished everything.

We proceed to Choeung Ek Genocidal Center (USD3) – killing field. 3.5 millions Cambodians were killed. There is total 17 levels of rack that store all the human shell and bones which were found in the graves. Babies and kids were killed by smashing them to a tree.

Our initial plan was to visit Royal Palace, however it was closed for some ceremony. Therefore we went to central market to buy some shirts.

Three of them were happy to bargain with the salesgirl to get more discount.

Four of us started to bargain to get cheaper shirts. Then we went to Wat Phnom, which temple was discovered by a woman, Penh. This is why the city is name Phnom Penh, it was a memorial for Penh who discovered the temple.

The street beside the Mekong river....last capture before back to Harvest Inn.

We had our lunch at KIWI Bakery and restaurant.

We returned to Harvest Inn to take bath and clear our bill. Then we depart to Cambodia Airport at 2.30pmm and reach there about 3pm. We checked in and waited our time to board into the flight at 3.30pm.
